Pricing For Web design

It is difficult to estimate much would your site  cost as it often involve different requirements normally unique to your business needs and require extensive discussion.

Requirements for a website may include number of pages , animations and other media contents, static or dynamic site, ecommerce/shopping cart.

We can however give you some indication of the price range and may be some ideas to think about when building your website.

You need to ask yourself questions such as:

  • Why do I want a website?
  • How often do I need to update information on the website?
  • How can my business benefits using the website?
  • Am I going to sell products/services using this site?
  • Are my users going to interact with the site?

Static site from hundreds of templates, up to 15 pages - including simple customization. from

Simple database and scripting (mySQL & PHP) from $1,200
Content management website (such as community and portals - cost depends on functionalities and customisations required). from $5,500
Ecommerce enabled site - online products/services catalog, shopping cart and checkout. from $3,700

Notes

Prices do not include website hosting and domain name.
For ecommerce site, cost does not include setting up online transactions. You can expect around $500 for set up fee, monthly fee of approximately $40, a fix cost and a percentage of value for each transaction. Also, depending on your bank and volume of transaction.
